Meet Sky, a fiesty Corgi/Pom mix that was brought into Mission Valley Animal Shelter when I was the Executive Director.
My dear friend Eunice who used to volunteer there stopped into the shelter and it was love connection.
Eunice not only adopted Sky from the shelter, she also adopted a cat from us who is named Tiger. The two fur siblings get along just fine.
Sky & Eunice have walked in a several of the Mission Valley Animal Shelter’s Doggy Dash’s and have raised a considerable amount of money for the shelter.
Sky has been a “biscuit fan” for several years now. We used to see each other more often, but we moved to the Bitterroot Valley a few years ago and it is quite a drive. He does come to visit his Aunt Jennifer.
Eunice called me today to place a large biscuit order for Sky. She said she feels they are good for him and he loves them.
I will work on getting those baked so they are fresh and get them off in the mail to him.
Hopefully we will get to see each other weather permitting in the Spring.
