Seabass

Tuxedo Cat

Hi my name is Seabass. Sometimes I’m called Seabasstioni Macaroni! I am the clown in the house.

I was just a tiny baby, maybe four weeks old when my mom found me. Mom was working at the animal shelter when she went outside to put some garbage out. When she went back inside and told her co-workers that she thought she kept hearing a kitten crying outside but thought it could be birds on the fence, line nobody really took her seriously.

A few hours later she went back outside and heard my cries again. This time she went back in and told everyone to come outside and listen. Thank goodness they also heard my cries. They formed a line and starting walking towards my cries.

Mom crossed over the railroad tracks and walked deeper into the fields. She was spreading the brush apart and almost stepped on me! Then she looked down to see cute little me. :)

Everyone took turns bottle feeding me, boy was I hungry and thirsty, that stuff tasted really good. After a few weeks mom decided to take me home to meet the rest of the gang.

I can remember one weekend while dad was watching us, while mom was at work, my dog sister Abbie picked me up by the scruff and was walking around with me in her mouth! Wow what a ride. I think she thought I was a puppy. We all call her mother and she probably would have been a good one, but we are all spayed and neutered. Mom says there is a really big problem with pet overpopulation and spaying and neutering is part of the answer.

Thank goodness my big and I mean BIG brother Forest came along. My sisters are cute, but they don’t like to play much. They are always cleaning themselves and fixing their fur. UGH! girls.
