Our Ollie has crossed over the Rainbow Bridge

Ollie

On the evening June 29, 2010 our beautiful, misunderstood, sweet, loving Ollie crossed over the Rainbow Bridge to join our other beloved friends that have left this planet we walk on.

I will be doing a post soon on his journey, struggles and the medical reason as to why he was taken from us far to soon.

This post is going to be more of a celebration, a joyful one.

In his honor and in celebration of what would have been our Becki-Lyn’s 14th birthday we decided to do something we haven’t and weren’t able to do in a long time. We took a hike! Something Becki-Lyn loved to do and with Ollie’s dog on dog aggression issues we could not possibly do and leaving him home was never an option. So my husband and our dwindling pack of now four packed our backpacks and headed for the beautiful hills of the Bitterroot Valley literally out our back door.

Here are a couple pics from our hike, there are more, but for a future post on hiking with your furkids.

The hike was truly memorable and spiritual for me who needs to get out and exercise, I have a preliminary diagnoses of Lupus, that’s why I am so covered up. All had fun and it was GREAT to get back out on the trails with my beloved and BEST FRIEND’S!

Love, Peace and Happiness to all and your furkids. Don’t take one day on this planet earth for granted as we never know when this journey will end.

Jennifer
