A tasty snack for your feline kids

by Forest on January 10, 2010

Mom asked me to help her our out.  Seeing as I have more time on my paws than her how could I turn her down.

Mom (Jennifer) said we furkids have to do more posts this year.  So here is one of my first for 2010, something close to my “fluffy” little heart FOOD!  I love to eat, as if you can’t tell from my picture! It’s all muscle I tell you, no fat on me :)

Here’s a recipe (hope it’s not a secret one) that mom whips up for us when we’ve kept our room clean.

Fully cook some boneless/skinless chicken breasts with olive oil in a frying pan until golden brown; when done, run them through a food processor and set aside.  Next, in your food processor put some green beans, carrots, blueberries, cranberries and parsley, “pulse” them until they are small chunks.  Then in a mixing bowl add your chicken and veggie/berry combination with a few dallops of low fat plain yogurt.  Mix together and serve it up.

We absolutely gobble this up when mom serves it to us.  She gets the biggest kick out of the sounds we make slurping it off of our plates!

As always, we furkids prefer organic foods used in our recipes.  Mom says that homegrown/organic food is much better for all of us even you humans.

Hope you have as much fun making this recipe as our mom does.  We in the “Cattery” give it a two paws up!
